G-Global – Platform for Communication
The creation of the “G-global” communication platform was suggested by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in December 15, 2011 in his speech at the formal meeting timed to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence.
“So far nobody has suggested a global anti-crisis plan that would to be acceptable for everyone. I suggest expanding the number of participants searching for anti-crisis solutions for the world. I suggest calling this new communication platform G-global,” Kazakhstan President pointed out in his speech.
With this regard, in January 12, 2012 "Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists" Association has started to expand its unique virtual “G-global” communication platform. «G-Global» - an international virtual project based on the annual Astana Economic Forum, aimed at discussion and development of mechanisms to overcome the global financial and economic challenges.
For now, «G-Global» platform brings together more than 10,000 participants from 128 countries, which unites multiple social groups of the world economy. This presentation will bring together representatives of government officials, NGOs, research and business organizations and science from Kazakhstan and around the world, as well as international experts from member countries of the "Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association”.

„The Champions“: World figure skating stars in the Swiss mountains
In the midst of the snowy Swiss mountains the Eisgala Davos presents «The Champions» on Friday, 10 and Saturday, 11 February 2012. It promises to be a magical show of current World and European champions.
On hand will be the world’s current best pair skaters Aliona Savchenko/Robin Szolkowy and Tatiana Volosozhar/Maxim Trankov, gold and silver medalists at the 2011 World Championships in Moscow. These two pairs of skaters battle each other at international competitions for the coveted top prize of being the best. Both show off beautiful, engaging choreography and the highest level of difficulty in their jumps and lifts.
This year’s mega-star at the Eisgala Davos comes from Japan – the current World Champion Miki Ando. Her style is considered emotional, tender, elegant and loose. In contrast, the charming European Champion Florent Amodio is considered the cool figure skating entertainer. The brash Frenchman with the Brazilian roots sets the ice on fire. Also the two most successful Swiss figure skaters, two-time World Champion Stéphane Lambiel and 2011 European Champion Sarah Meier, glide onto the ice.
A fantastic light show, video projections on the ice, plenty of acrobatics and entertainment make up the framework for the amazing athletic performances. There is also an additional delight for the spectators in Davos and those watching on TV: the usual perimeter bands will be dispensed with at the Vaillant Arena, allowing the viewer to be even closer to the happenings on the ice.
